I first saw Kindness Rocks displayed on the beach where I was living. A girl scout troop had made them and put them there with a sign to take whichever rock spoke to you. So I did - Be You! I brought it with me to Maine and put it in my garden near my door. I see it whenever I go in and out of my house. It reminds me not only of its message, but of how nice people can be and how much people do really care about one another and sending good messages out to the Universe.
Now I take my scraps from my vinyl work and I use them for making Kindness Rocks. Rocks are a favorite thing of mine —I’m known to load my backpack or suitcase up with my favorite rocks! — so adding an inspirational message or a beautiful image is fun for me. I get to adore the rock, and the message. They are hard for me to part with!
I’m making a batch of Kindness Rocks now and considering all the places I can leave them for others to find. I hope you find one —or make some! — and it gives you and others joy.
